In-Person Supports
Bring free quit-smoking support to your community—and get paid to do it.
SmokeFreeConnect provides in-person supports for rural or remote communities across Canada on their quitting journeys, including funding local community events and free NRT.
As a Community Champion, you’ll help plan and host fully funded community events that build connection and support quitting—like walking groups, shared meals, game or movie nights, cultural or land-based activities, or wellness and recreational events.
Free nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) is provided to participating communities, helping expand cessation support where services may be limited.
✔ Paid role ($30/hour)
✔ Flexible involvement—one event or ongoing activities
✔ Champions may have lived/living experience of smoking/quitting OR are a smoking cessation or health professional
